Amex Gold Card Members: Enroll now for new Racy and Dunkin’ benefits
with an announcement to refresh the American Express® Gold Card One of our favorite premium cards has gotten a number of (not all bad) changes, including new statement credits along with an annual fee increase.
The most time-sensitive of those changes comes in the form of a new annual credit at Racey and Dunkin’. They cost up to $184 in combined annual value — but both require cardholders to register to take advantage.
Read on to learn about these new credits and how you can register to use them.
Enrollment required for new Amex Gold Rewards and Dunkin’ benefits
Amex Gold cardholders can now earn up to $100 in annual Receipt credits (split into two $50 biannual credits) and up to $84 in annual Dunkin’ Credits (split into a dozen $7 monthly credits).
However, registration is required for both benefits. Amex claims that enrolling in these benefits can take up to 24 hours to take effect, so the sooner you can get it done, the better for your wallet.
These new benefits come alongside two other existing statement credits on Amex Gold: up to $120 in annual Uber Cash and up to $10 in monthly dining statement credits at participating partners. You must have downloaded the latest version of the Uber app and your eligible American Express Gold Card must be the payment method in your Uber account.

Bottom line
If you’re an Amex Gold cardholder who’s also a Receipt user or Dunkin’s regular, you’ll definitely want to make sure you enroll in this new benefit as soon as possible to take advantage of it.
Otherwise, you’ll find yourself paying a hefty annual fee without any new benefits to go with it—never an ideal place to be as a cardholder.
