Saving money is on everyone’s to-do list. I mean, just look at the cost of things. The good news is that if you have an American Express card, doing so is really easy with a few simple clicks.
From premium travel cards to cash-back cards and more, Amex has a diverse lineup of consumer and business offerings. And across the entire American Express cards portfolio you can count on one constant component: Amex offers.
Amex offers are one of the best ways to save cash — or earn extra points and miles — even when you’re not traveling. Here’s a little (but powerful) tip to get even more (and sometimes better) offers to show up on your card account. Let’s find out how.
What are Amex offers?
As mentioned, almost all American Express cards have access to Amex offers — but specific deals can vary from card to card.
To find these offers, log into your card account and navigate to “Amex Offers & Benefits” on the card page or on the “Offers” tab in the Amex app.

How to get more Amex offers to appear
Adding existing offers to your card
The key here is to scroll through your “Amex Offers and Benefits” and add promotions that you too potential can use There’s no harm in adding offers to your card even if you don’t use them. When a given offer expires, it will disappear from your account. Offers can disappear, so if you think you can use them, add them to your card. You’re not obligated to make a purchase at a merchant just because you’ve added an offer to your Amex account.

Unlock even more offers
And there’s another added bonus to putting offers on your card: when you add an existing one, more can become available (and visible) in your account. That’s right — Amex limits the number of offers you can view at any one time to 100 offers per card.
An Amex spokesperson told TPG that only “the top 100 offers available to card members are displayed both online and in the American Express mobile app.”
However, note that there are not always 100 offers at a given time for each card. For example, my Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® card currently only shows 32 offers, so adding more won’t unlock new offers. But Amex Membership Rewards-earning cards typically have more than 100 offers available — not all of them are visible.

Example: American Express Platinum Card
TPG Credit Card author Danyal Ahmed had four offers added Platinum Card® from American Express.
After adding another 12 offers, for a total of 16 offers, he signed out of his account. A few minutes later, he signed in again and saw that his list of available offers was up to 99.
The 12 new offers added have expiration dates ranging from a few weeks to several months. Some of the notable travel merchants stocked with offers include Destinations by Hyatt, Big Sky Resorts, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Obviously, if you keep adding offers, at some point there’s a limit to how many Amex will give you. However, Amex can introduce new offers at any time, and by adding existing offers to the card, you should be prepared for when new offers are released. Therefore, it’s good practice to add offers to your account to “free up” available space – and check for new ones frequently.
Another possible strategy: add offers that are close to expiring. Some cardholders may not want the “Added to Card” section cluttered with offers they have no chance of using. By adding offers that expire soon, that list will swell temporarily but quickly come down to a more manageable level.
If adding offers one by one seems too slow, there is a way to add them all at once. If you add Bookmark this On your browser, the process may be faster.

Don’t forget about other promotions
Amex offers can be a great deal on their own, but you can Double- or even triple-dip for better returns. These are best practices for any online shopping you do — even if it’s retail.
Always check online shopping portals to earn extra cash back or bonus miles on your purchases — Rakuten will also allow you to earn bonus Amex points at hundreds of merchants. Additionally, you can avail any sale at that particular merchant with bonus categories on a particular card.
Finally, there are Amex-specific credits — such as annual statement credits at Saks Fifth Avenue (for Platinum Card® from American Expresswhich offers up to $100 in annual statement credits) and Dell (for The Business Platinum Card® from American Expresswhich offers up to $400 in statement credits per year). Registration is required for select benefits.
Both these stores have had Amex offers over the past year, making the already valuable perk even more attractive.
In addition, you can also use certain shopping portals to add extra points, miles or cash back to your spend when you shop in person.
