Now with 225 rooms, the French Second Empire-style depot has been reborn into a modern hotel, but retains touches of its past life with restored features such as stained-glass windows and terrazzo floors. The hotel’s main bar, The Bar at Asher Adams, sits in the center of the Grand Hall, and is “the heartbeat of the property,” according to the hotel. The counterpart, inspired by the train’s club car, is where guests can get their morning caffeine fix, pastries and light meals.

There is also a fitness center and meeting space on site. The hotel offers easy access to Salt Lake City’s downtown area highlights, such as the Delta Center – where you can catch Utah Jazz basketball games and concerts – as well as the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and more.
