You can now find Amtrak routes on Google Flights
As of last week, users can now search for Amtrak tickets on the Google platform and see up-to-date departure times, trip durations and fares similar to train company Google Flights. Announced On 26 September.
On Google Flights, users can filter to see train notifications detailing duration, time and prices. Just enter your origin, destination and travel dates as you would when searching for a flight, as shown below.
Below the flight options, you’ll see available Amtrak options under the “Trains to Consider” header. For example, a search for travel from Chicago to St. Louis returned the following options.
Click on “See More Train Options” to see the full list of Amtrak listings available for your routes.
This feature is only available for cities and routes where Amtrak service is provided.
