Although Disney has two water parks, only one is open at a time. Historically, Blizzard Beach has been open in the fall and winter, and Typhoon Lagoon has been open in the spring and summer. This year, for example, the Typhoon Lagoon season closes on November 3, and Blizzard Beach opens on November 4.

A one-day ticket to a Disney water park without a blackout date costs $74, which doesn’t add significant cost to your Disney vacation. However, Disney’s new deal gives you unlimited access to Disney’s water parks through May 23, 2025, for just $5 more than a day ticket.

This Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass It costs $79 plus tax and gets you unlimited access to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach as many times as you want through May 23, 2025. The only blackout dates are April 12 to 20, 2025.

Even if you only have one Disney trip planned this year, paying the extra $5 for a Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass means you can come back once or twice for a half day, in addition to spending a full day at one of Disney’s water parks. Or just a few hours during your vacation without worrying about wasting money on another ticket.

Here’s a closer look at the cost of a day pass versus a season pass:

Speaking of not wasting money, if you visit Disney World in 2025, there’s even a way to get into Disney’s water parks for free.

Guests arriving between January 1 and December 31, 2025, can make a free splash at one of Disney’s water parks on their check-in day. Instead of waiting until the next day of your trip to start the fun, you can start as soon as you arrive at Disney.
