You earn Hilton Base Points at a rate of 10 points per dollar at most Hilton hotels, and you can earn up to four Base Points per stay. Stays and nights booked with points or free night awards also count towards elite qualification.
Hilton uses the calendar year as its qualification period, so you have January 1 through December 31 of each year to qualify for your desired elite membership level. Your status will then be valid until the end of the following calendar year.

Hilton Promotion
Hilton often offers promotions that can help you earn elite status and bonus points.
In past years, Hilton has offered a Double Your Nights promotion. With this promotion, you’ll earn double Elite-qualifying nights when you stay in the last three months of a calendar year.
During these past promotions, each night can count as two nights for milestone bonus and rollover nights. As such, this promotion may also help you qualify for Hilton status for the following year.
These offers were a handy shortcut for members with qualifying or near qualifying status who wanted to book a few extra stays before the end of the year.

Status match
You can request a status match if you are currently an entry-level Hilton member or have Silver status.
All you need to do is submit proof of your recent stay and proof of elite status through Hilton’s dedicated to other competitors’ loyalty programs. Position match page. If Hilton approves your status match, it will upgrade your status to Gold for 90 days.
You can maintain Gold status until March 31, 2026 if you stay eight nights during your 90-day trial period. And if you stay 14 nights during your 90-day trial period, you can snag top-tier Diamond status by March 31, 2026.
If you have an upcoming trip planned and don’t want to sign up for a Hilton credit card that offers high status as a card member benefit, this is a great opportunity to quickly earn Gold or Diamond status with Hilton.
However, the investment status of the award does not count toward meeting the match requirements. And you can only match status with Hilton once in a lifetime, so time your status match carefully.
