Marriott Bonvoy announced the dates of its upcoming fall flash sale on Wednesday, so travelers should be prepared to book weekend getaways for leaf-peeping and cider-sipping. From September 25 to September 29, Marriott Bonvoy members can enjoy 20% off weekend bookings at participating hotels for stays from September 30 to November 11.

Non-members will receive a 15% discount when they book during the same time frame, but why not become a Marriott Bonvoy member? It’s free to join and you can even get cheap weekend rates this fall.

More than 6,000 Marriott-affiliated hotels are participating in the sale. Marriott sees this as a way for Bonvoy members to experience fall-themed food and beverage experiences as well as outdoor adventures at some of the most beautiful hotels in its portfolio. Participating hotels are across a range of brands. Options include:

• Downright Austin, a Renaissance Hotel: Those heading to Austin this fall should look no further than this Renaissance-style property overlooking the Texas State Capitol and downtown. Texas Longhorns fans will be happy to know that it’s just a short trip from the University of Texas at Austin’s football stadium.
• The Envoy Hotel, Autograph Collection: This boutique hotel in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood is a Bonvoy favorite for its chic guest rooms. It’s a local favorite for its wildly popular Lookout rooftop cocktail bar. The hotel is next door to the iconic Barking Crab Seafood Restaurant and Hangout, a New England treat.
• Trilith Guesthouse, Fayetteville, GA, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel: Head to this boutique hotel 20 miles south of Atlanta for a culinary getaway. Oliver’s Twist Bar & View, a European-style rooftop bar, is a popular hangout for alfresco libations. Prelude Dining & Drinks caters well to guests and locals alike with its creative spin on Southern cuisine (buffalo-fried artichokes, anyone?).
• JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square: Location The JW Marriott San Francisco is the name of the game at Union Square. It is within walking distance of Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square and the Financial District. While there’s plenty to do outside the hotel, be sure to save room for a meal on Level III, known for its locally sourced menu and city views.
