Before you register for this offer, there are some important details to understand.

For example, although you will receive the benefits of Explorer status during your Explorer trial period, you will not receive any benefits. Club Lounge Access Awards. Finally, Club Lounge Access awards are earned through Milestone Rewards, not status. For the investment to count toward this tier trial offer, you must check out during your Explorist trial period. If you check out after your Explorist trial period has ended, no nights will count toward that stay. Although you can earn tier-qualifying nights by holding and using a World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card, these nights will not count toward this promotion.

If you successfully complete the 10-night requirement for Explorer status or the 20-night requirement for Globalist status, your new status will appear in your account; You will see within seven business days of exiting the investment that pushed you over the applicable threshold. Then your status will be valid till February 2026.

Bottom line

If you have elite status with American Airlines, this new trial tier offer may be worth registering for.

In particular, you may want to register if you can benefit from World of Hyatt Explorer status on an upcoming stay. Likewise, this offer can be useful if you’re trying to qualify for Explorer status — or Globalist status for AAdvantage elite members with Platinum Pro or Executive Platinum status — but still have too few nights. Remember, Hyatt Milestone Rewards still requires you to earn typical base points or tier-qualifying nights, even if you use this trial tier status offer to reach your desired status tier.

I already have Globalist status and have trips booked to get all 60 tier-qualifying nights I need this year to qualify. Therefore, I am not registering for this promotion. However, if you’re ahead of your desired World Survivor status — or otherwise not eligible for Survivor status this year — this promotion could be very useful to you.

Finally, if you’re a Hyatt member looking for an AAAdvantage status boost, a Hyatt spokesperson told TPG, “Select Advantage® members who have linked their World of Hyatt and AAdvantage® accounts will receive a special promotion tab within their AAdvantage. can view the offer. ® account at aa.com.” It’s worth checking your AAdvantage account to see if you’ve been targeted for a special offer.
