Mexico is poised to make a significant return to the Canadian travel market this fall with a series of promotional events in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
After a five-year hiatus following the closure of the Mexico Tourism Board, the country is eager to reconnect with Canadian travel agents, airlines and tour operators.
To drive this revival effort, leading industry consultancy, Torreya Consulta is organizing an extensive road show.
It will feature 20 diverse Mexican destinations and tourism-focused businesses.
The events will run for three days in September:
- Montreal Sept. 10 at the Intercontinental Hotel
- Ottawa: September 11 at the Lord Elgin Hotel
- Toronto: Sept. 12 at the Hilton Toronto
Cesar Castaneda Vázquez del Mercado, director general of Torreya Consulta, expressed enthusiasm about the roadshow’s potential to re-establish Mexico as a top travel destination for Canadians.
“We believe this is an opportune moment to showcase Mexico’s incredible diversity and appeal to the Canadian market,” said Castaneda.
“By bringing together key industry stakeholders, we aim to foster new partnerships and generate excitement for travel to our beautiful country.”
The roadshow promises to provide attendees with a wealth of information and insight into Mexico’s latest tourism opportunities.
Participating venues and companies will have the opportunity to highlight their unique attractions, accommodations and experiences, as well as discuss recent developments and improvements.
Mexico is looking to regain its place as a travel destination of choice for Canadians.
Therefore, this roadshow represents a crucial step in rebuilding relationships and stimulating demand.
By providing a platform for direct interaction between Mexican tourism providers and Canadian industry professionals, the events aim to generate a renewed sense of optimism and excitement about the possibilities for travel to Mexico.
With its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage and vibrant cities, Mexico has long captivated the hearts of Canadian travelers.
As the country reemerges on the Canadian tourism scene, this roadshow is poised to reignite the passion for Mexican vacations and inspire countless unforgettable trips.
