The acclaimed St. Regis Maldives Vomuli Resort is delighted to host Fan Art Therapy, a Singapore-based artist known for his stunning string art and mandala creations, from August 20-23, 2024. Families staying at the resort will have a special opportunity. To participate in a series of workshops promoting creativity, bonding and a deep sense of peace amidst the natural beauty of the Maldives.
Fan Art Therapy invites guests to explore the world of art and self-expression through string art and mandala creation in this workshop. The four-day residency is designed for all ages and skill levels, with sessions held throughout the property. In addition, Fan Art Therapy will showcase unique artworks around the resort, allowing guests to see these creations up close and learn directly from the artists.
Founded in February 2018 by Zechai Kee and Leow Yee Yng, Fan Art Therapy aims to help individuals reconnect with themselves and their relationships. The collective focuses on the process of making art rather than the finished product, encouraging individual expression. During their workshops at the resort, they aim to give guests an opportunity to destress, disconnect and discover.

Tuesday, August 20:
An introductory string art workshop for children inspired by whale sharks will be held at Womuli House.
Wednesday, August 21:
Join us in the drawing room for a mandala art workshop suitable for all ages. Participants will explore the serene nature of string art while delving into the cultural symbolism of the mandala.
Thursday, August 22:
An advanced workshop focusing on manta-ray-themed string art will be held in the drawing room. This session will cover specific techniques for more experienced participants.
Friday, August 23:
Guests staying in the resort’s premium villas can enjoy exclusive in-villa string art and mandala sessions, offering a personal and intimate experience with limited slots available.
