FMCA, the world’s largest non-profit organization for RV enthusiasts, is hosting a major event in Redmond, Oregon from August 14-17, 2024, featuring more than 700 RVs.
FMCA, the largest non-profit organization for RV enthusiasts globally, will host a gathering in Redmond, Oregon from August 14 to 17, 2024. More than 700 RVs are expected at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center for FMCA’s 109th International Convention and RV Convention. Expo, sponsored by Beaver Coach Sales. Themed “Adventure Peaks,” the event promises fun and RV-related activities. While FMCA members are the primary attendees, anyone interested in the RV lifestyle is welcome to join the festivities.
“RV travel is about embracing the spirit of adventure and the fun and freedom that comes with it. We welcome all current RV owners as well as those considering purchasing an RV to join us in Redmond in August as we host this super-sized RV event,” said Doug Uhlenbrock, FMCA Director of Events. “There’s no better way to learn about RVing and celebrate the RV life, while spending time with some amazing people who share your passion for exploring North America by RV.”
A special feature of the four-day event will be the impressive RV Expo, which will showcase the latest RV models along with a wide range of related products and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight from nearly 100 seminar sessions covering topics such as chassis maintenance, RV solar systems, full-time RVing and convection-microwave cooking. The schedule will also be packed with daytime and evening entertainment and social activities.
The public is cordially invited to join in the fun. RV owners can stay on-site in their vehicles, fully participate in all activities for a gate registration fee of $270, which includes a one-year FMCA membership for new members.
Those looking to buy an RV can explore the expo and visit the vehicles on display and exhibits. One-day admission to the RV Expo is $10 per person or $25 for a family of three or more, with free admission for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. Active military ID holders also enjoy free admission. Expo hours are Wednesday, August 14, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm; Thursday and Friday, August 15 and 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, August 17, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A day pass purchased for Wednesday will also be valid for Thursday.
For a more comprehensive experience, FMCA offers a Daily Passport, which provides access to the RV Expo, all seminars and entertainment. Daily passports are available for $50 per person per day.
“RV Curious? Come join us!” Will be held in the Lava Room of the South Sister Building (Seminar 5). This session is designed specifically for those considering RV ownership, featuring a panel of experienced RV owners who will share their insights. Open to everyone, this seminar is especially beneficial for non-owners attending the event to learn more about the RV lifestyle.
