When it comes to cobranded credit cards, American Express offers Hilton travelers a variety of choices in that area as well. There are four Amex Hilton credit cards – three personal cards and one business one. You will receive a range of benefits to make your next stay more rewarding and enjoyable.

Note that Amex refreshes Hilton honors the American Express Surpass® Card and the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card in October 2023. These cards have improved benefits and increased annual fees. The Hilton honors the American Express Business Card The amendment was made in March.

July 2024 of TPG Hilton points at valuation are 0.6 cents each, making bonus points worth $780 — plus hundreds of dollars in potential value from free night rewards, depending on which property you use them at. If you can get a lot of value out of a free night, this might be the best offer we’ve seen on the card yet.

Here’s what to know about Hilton Honors American Express.

Earn 70,000 bonus points and a free night award after spending $2,000 in purchases in the first six months of card membership. This offer ends on 31 July.

The regular Hilton Amex card has no annual fee (see rates and fees), so surprisingly, you’ll earn fewer points with this welcome offer.

According to TPG’s July 2024 valuation, the bonus points are worth $420 — plus the value of the free night reward. That makes it one of the highest offers we’ve seen on this card.

Additional benefits

With this card, you’ll earn 7 points per dollar spent directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio, 5 points per dollar spent on dining eligible purchases at US restaurants, US supermarkets and US gas stations, and 3 points per dollar spent. All other eligible purchases. Conditions apply.

This entry-level card also offers automatic Hilton Honors Silver status (with an upgrade to Gold when you spend $20,000 on eligible purchases in a calendar year) and no foreign transaction fees (see Rates and Fees) — also a rarity for a card that has No annual fee. Hilton American Express honors the Aspire Card

Here’s what to know about Hilton Honors American Express Aspire, Hilton’s top-tier credit card.

As of TPG’s July 2024 Valuation, these 175,000 points are worth $1,050. Now is a good time to apply for this card, as the welcome offer is close to the highest it’s ever been (just 5,000 points short.)

This card has an annual fee of $550 (see Rates and Fees).

Additional benefits

The Hilton Aspire Card is Hilton’s premium credit card, packed with benefits. You’ll enjoy automatic Hilton Honors Diamond status, which includes free breakfast (or a daily food and beverage credit in the US), bonus points and space-available room upgrades on every stay.

You also get up to $200 in annual statement credits on qualifying flight purchases, up to $400 in annual statement credits on purchases made at Hilton portfolio hotels, and up to $189 in statement credits for Clear Plus membership (subject to auto-renewal). The card has some solid perks like earning up to $240 in statement credits (up to $60 in credit each quarter for purchases made directly with Hilton properties per calendar year), a complimentary Hilton Gold elite status, and the same cost-based way to earn Hilton. Diamond status and National Car Rental® Emerald Club Executive® status*. Registration is required for select benefits.

Bottom line

Points on these cards can lead to some amazing Hilton redemptions, including luxury stays at resorts. Ski-friendly spots like the Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort and Spa or the Hilton Doubletree in Highline Vail.

Remember that Amex has a “one per lifetime” policy for receiving welcome offers, but a pop-up window will tell you if you’re not eligible for the bonus before you submit your application. This is your last chance to get the elevated welcome offer on individual cards, as it ends on 31 July.
