Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau teams with MACEOS to enhance Malaysia Business Events Week 2024 through strategic partnership.
The Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers (MACEOS) are thrilled to announce the formalization of a strategic partnership agreement. This major engagement marks a significant achievement for the ninth edition of Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW) in 2024, underlining our commitment to foster a more diverse and vibrant business events sector.
During a formal event in Putrajaya, the shared dedication of MyCEB and MACEOS to grow Malaysia’s business events industry was clearly demonstrated. Through this partnership, both organizations aim to create a more impactful and comprehensive MBEW 2024.
Reflecting on this evolution, CEO of MyCEB Mr. Azman Haji Tambi Chik, commented, “This year’s MBEW is particularly significant for MyCEB. In the past, we facilitated BE Xchange, allowing buyers and sellers to connect and do business. Recognizing the need for a more integrated approach, we are thrilled to partner with our esteemed industry peers and lead MACEOS in this critical segment.”
MACEOS is exhibiting 99 booths at the expo, with 81% already reserved, indicating significant interest. Meanwhile, MyCEB has successfully attracted 49 hosted buyers, aiming to ensure an energetic and interactive experience.
Held from 19 to 21 August at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, MBEW 2024 will host EVENTXPO 2024. Themed “Everything, Everything, Events!”, the expo is set to be the leading hub for the latest offerings in business events. , including products, services, technologies, trends and insights.

Additionally, the event will spotlight the MACEOS National Youth Challenge, which will invite young innovators to showcase their creative concepts for business events.
