Kenilworth’s Lotus and Water Lily Festival is back, showcasing vibrant blooms and celebrating the beauty of nature.

The Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, in association with the National Park Service, are pleased to announce the eagerly awaited return of the Lotus and Water Lily Festival at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. This year’s event, scheduled from July 19-21, 2024, promises a three-day celebration of exquisite aquatic flowers and the rich cultural traditions they symbolize.

Event Highlights:

Spectacular Blooms: Attendees will be mesmerized by thousands of lotus and water lily flowers in full bloom, painting a vibrant tapestry of colors in the garden’s ponds.

Cultural performances: The festival will showcase various cultural performances, including traditional music, dance and storytelling, representing the various communities that revere the lotus and water lily.

Guided Tours and Workshops: Attendees can join expert-led tours to understand the history, ecology and importance of this beautiful plant. Hands-on workshops will also be available, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about aquatic gardening and conservation methods.

Family-friendly activities: The festival will feature a variety of activities tailored for kids and families, including arts and crafts, face painting and interactive educational exhibits.
