Travel Meet Asia 2024 concluded with an impressive 80% year-on-year growth at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Jakarta. The event was attended by over 1,300 attendees and over 140 exhibitors. Top buyers, numbering over 180, organized over 7,507 business appointments over two dynamic days. Major exhibitors include the Singapore Tourism Board, Czech Tourism Authority, Korea Tourism Organization and Royal Caribbean International. Eminent speakers from Agoda, Cathay Pacific, FCM Indonesia, Intrepid Travel, SABA Hospitality, and tiket.com also contributed to the success of the event.
Travel Meet Asia 2024 has evolved into a comprehensive two-day travel trade show and convention, connecting Southeast Asia’s growing travel sector with global opportunities. This fully booked B2B event is designed to provide a solid platform for travel industry professionals to tap into new markets in Southeast Asia, gain vital industry knowledge and explore the vast opportunities presented by the region.
This year’s exhibition featured an impressive lineup of participants, including major organizations such as the Singapore Tourism Board, Czech Tourism Authority, Korea Tourism Organization and Royal Caribbean International. Notable companies like Ayana Hospitality, Melia Hotels International and Nagaworld Limited also participated along with innovative tech companies like DidaTravel Technology and SiteMinder.
The conference delivered 560 minutes of engaging content across 22 sessions, led by 38 industry experts, including Agoda’s Enrique Casales Brufau, Johannes Chang from Biztrips Events and Cathay Pacific’s Tony Sham. Other leaders such as Brett Henry of MG Group and George Handrata of tiket.com shared their insights, highlighting the dynamic and evolving nature of the travel industry.
Looking ahead, Travel Meet Asia 2025 is scheduled to be held on June 11-12, 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event aims to enhance regional and international business connections through strategic partnerships and high-level networking. Five leading travel associations, including ASITA and MATTA, have already committed to support the event, which promises to bring key decision makers and top travel agents from across Southeast Asia, further promoting cross-border business opportunities and fostering a collaborative environment for industry growth. is
